Department of Gynaecologic and Breast Oncology

The Department of gynecological and breast oncology has its roots in the year 1921 when treatment of cancer patients was first performed with radiation.
Special attention was paid to cervical cancer and development of early diagnostics and therapy. In the 1990s we started treating patients with breast cancer, who, nowadays, are provided with complete treatment from diagnosis and treatment to rehabilitation.
